SinniK Al is an electric guitarist originally from Greece but currently living in Cardiff, UK. He has been playing electric guitar for about 15 years and teaching/performing for about 10. He has maintained a busy schedule including both one to one and group lessons in music schools and at home. His teaching material is well organized and effective in all styles from metal and rock to funk and pop. The exercises offered are specially designed for the needs of the students of all levels. His aim is to help students gain a well rounded knowledge in theory, technique, improvisation and repertoire so that they will be able to develop their personal style. He has obtained the theory, harmony, counterpoint and fugue diplomas while he’s also studied classical piano up to the degree. As for guitar, apart from metal and rock playing he has also studied jazz and obtained the DipLCM in electric guitar teaching from the Thames Valley University. He has taken part in remarkable gigs like MTV Unplugged and Rockwave Festival in Athens, GR and Metal Female Voices Festival in Belgium. Moreover, he has performed in the UK and Cyprus as an accompanist for a “Skull of Yorick” opera production. As a band member, he has shared the stage with giants like Devildriver, Arch Enemy, Lacuna Coil and Vinnie Moore and has a notable discography. Apart from that, he has worked as a touring guitar clinician. For the time being, private lessons are offered both at his home in South Glamorgan or the house of the interested student.
